If you are not currently using practiX 1.35.2.9, then you will need to upgrade in order to recieve price and MIMS updates. Please download and send us the practiX upgrade booking form to upgrade.

DVA price updates: There are very few changes to the DVA prices for the 1st of May 2010. Please Download Here. If you are asked for a password , please click 'Cancel'. Due the the format changes by DVA we are unable to create the price file for download. Please update your DVA prices manually using the downloaded spreadsheet.

MIMS

When downloading the latest version of MIMS, if the prompt says that you have the latest version and asks if you would like to download it again, hit the 'yes' button.

Once it has completed, you will need to run a manual workstation upgrade on any workstation that uses MIMS. To do this, close practiX, right click on the practiX icon on your desktop and choose 'properties'. Click on 'Find Target'. This will open the msp folder on your machine. Locate the file named "mspwsupgrade.exe" and double click to open.

This will then ask you if you want to reinstall MIMS. Hit 'yes'.

Once this has completed you will have the latest version of MIMS on your machine.

Assist Fee Billing Report - If you are recieving errors when trying to print the Assist Fee Report in practiX Ver 1.35.2.9, Please contact support and we will provide you with a fix. Go to the Contact Us area of the website for contact details.

For versions 1.34 3.8 and up - The new MBF schedule for February has been created. Details are available from Application Updates.

The MBS Schedule has now been updated to include the new Obstetrics item numbers and item 2702 for 01/01/2010. Please note that the date will read 01/11/2009 upon importing, but this will not effect your billing.

The vaccine schedule has been updated to include Panvax Jr. Please go to Administration, System Configuration, Health Records and Import Vaccine Setup.

DVA PAPERLESS has been released!

NEW H1N1 VACCINE AVAILABLE IN PRACTIX
The new H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine is available in practiX for version 1.34 and up. To download, go to Administration - System Configuration - Health Records and "Import Vaccine Setup". Once successfully imported, you can proceed to the patients Health Record and "Panvax" comes under the "Influenza" section as a non-scheduled vaccine.
